This week’s lesson takes students into the microscopic world of tiny planktonic crustaceans called copepods. You'll learn about how they move and how they’ve adapted to their environment, as well as how their environment is shaped by temperature and oxygen! This lesson is based on a 2014 paper called "Eucalanoid copepod metabolic rates in the oxygen minimum zone of the eastern tropical north Pacific: Effects of oxygen and temperature".
